I love the name “Venturous” for coaching because I believe the most meaningful experiences in life come from those bold, brave moments when people step out, take risks, and move toward what matters to them.

In my work, I support individuals in developing that kind of courage, helping them clarify their values, define their goals, and turn intention into action. I spend my days working with people as they strengthen confidence, direction, and follow-through in both their personal and professional lives.

I grew up in Princeton, New Jersey, where my love for adventure developed early through Scouting, sailing, and traveling to the Netherlands, my mother’s native country.

My early experience in sales and recruiting began at Brown University, where I sold educational books door-to-door during summer breaks and built and led a team of fellow students doing the same. That foundation shaped a long career in leadership, training, and people development.

For nearly 30 years, I worked at Amica Insurance in management, training, and leadership roles. I became a certified trainer in Integrity Selling and Integrity Coaching, and developing others became a central focus throughout my career in personal lines insurance.

At the core of my work is a belief in belonging, creating space where people feel accepted for who they truly are and valued for what they bring. I believe that helping people connect with their authentic identity is where courage begins, and that taking risks in service of that truth is where real growth happens.
