Coach Profile: Steve Wright

Steve Wright loves the name “Venturous” for coaching because the most satisfying experiences in life come from those bold, brave spirits who step out and take a risk.  Steve spends his days with folks developing that courage as they clarify their values, goals, and tasks.  Raised in Princeton, NJ, his love for adventure grew through Scouting, sailing, and traveling to his mother’s native country, the Netherlands.

Steve got serious about sales, recruiting, and personal growth between semesters at Brown University, when he sold educational books door-to-door, and recruited a team of other college students to do the same.  For nearly three decades, Steve filled management, training, and leadership roles at Amica Insurance.  A certified trainer in the Integrity Selling and Integrity Coaching programs developing others became a steady passion through his 28-year career in personal lines insurance.

Steve values that sense of belonging when you’re welcome for who you truly are, and you are appreciated for what you have to give.  Enabling others to rest in their truest identity is the beginning of courage.  Taking risks to serve others in their strengths is the path to growth and a huge reward.  Steve often wants that reward for others more, sometimes, than they do … at first.
