Coach Profile: Lourdes PENA Valerio

Human Management Consultant with more than 25 years working as an executive, manager, university lecturer, researcher, trainer, and coach. 

Focused on the strategic role of human management, I have managed projects, programs, and initiatives in various corporations and institutions in both the public and private sectors.  I have an Industrial Engineering degree from Instituto Technologico in Dominican Republic, and earned a master’s degree in Human Resources Administration.  I have worked in both generalist and specialist HR positions in the banking industry, a lecturer for higher education institutions, and as a consultant and coach for a wide variety of business sectors. Having earned credentials as an ICF-certified coach, I am trained in applied positive psychology and my focus is on positive organizational behaviour and the development of personal strengths and wellbeing.  I hold the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) credential from the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA) in Ontario, Canada.  

As an educator and life-long learner, I'm very curious. I love trying new types of food, visiting new places, and sharing with people from different cultures. I also love wildlife and the awesome serenity of large territories in their natural state.
