Born and raised in North Carolina, Amanda earned her BA at Campbell University and MBA with Gardner Webb. She earned the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coach Federation and is a certified facilitator for Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, FIRO-B, and Strengths Deployment Inventory. She also holds the Board Certified Coach (BCC) credential with the Center for Credentialing and Education.
Known as an advocate for her community, previous civic leadership includes Chamber of Commerce, PANGAEA Internet, Smart Start/Partnership for Children, and the Gardner Webb Godbold School of Business Advisory Board.
Amanda served as an elected Commissioner in Rutherford County (2002-2006), during which time she co-led establishment of one of the region’s first business and technology centers. Her work in establishing an incubator approach for small businesses ignited a spark began that eventually turned into a full-time passion: helping small business owners increase their success.
Since 2004, Amanda has provided coaching and business operations consulting for small businesses from a variety of industries across Western NC and Upstate SC. Amanda lives in Greenville, SC with her beautiful blended family: husband Greg, three amazing teenagers, and two rowdy rescue cats.
